Start with the vehicle's Clean Truck Check requirements. An out-of-state registration does not automatically remove those requirements when a covered vehicle operates in California.

Ask about ASAH Vehicle Gateway
ASAH Vehicle Gateway (AVG) is the in-vehicle hardware. CTC Intelligence is the software and service for eligible remote Clean Truck Check OBD testing and test-history access. CTCA is an authorized seller and your local testing team.
AVG is optional. Book a normal CTCA test without a subscription, or ask our team to confirm vehicle compatibility, annual service terms and setup before enrolling.
Is automated testing a good fit?
Compatible OBD-equipped vehicles
Share the engine model year, fuel type and connector details, including any existing ELD or telematics device. Compatibility is not universal. We will confirm the approved connection and installation arrangement before recommending AVG.
This offer covers eligible remote OBD testing. It does not include GPS tracking, electronic logs or hours-of-service management. It does not repair faults, guarantee a pass, pay CARB fees, register vehicles in CTC-VIS, or replace required opacity or visual inspections.

Keep the service you need
Do I have to buy AVG to book a test?
No. CTCA continues to offer individual and fleet testing. AVG is an optional automated testing offer, not a condition of service.
Can AVG replace smoke opacity testing?
Do not assume so. Older diesel engines and other configurations may require an opacity or visual inspection rather than OBD testing. We will help you identify the appropriate service.
Where do I get product specifications and current pricing?
Standard annual service is $300 per eligible commercial vehicle, including gateway use during the active subscription. This is not a standalone hardware purchase. More than 15 trucks? Ask whether fleet pricing may be available; discounts are individually reviewed and not guaranteed. Confirm taxes, shipping, installation and final terms before enrolling.
