CLEAN TRUCK CHECK AUTHORITY

Fleet Clean Truck Check testing, without the scheduling guesswork.

Coordinate mobile OBD and smoke opacity testing for your Southern California fleet. Start with your vehicle list, yard location and CTC-VIS deadlines. We will help plan the right service for each vehicle.

Only one vehicle? Book a test online.

One fleet can need more than one test type.

OBD testing

Generally for 2013 and newer diesel engines and 2018 and newer alternative-fuel engines. Use the engine model year, not just the truck model year.

Smoke opacity and visual inspection

Generally for 2012 and older diesel engines. Tell us about engine replacements or specialty vehicles so the test type can be checked before the appointment.

Send these details with your request

  1. Your vehicles: number of trucks, engine model years and fuel types. A mixed fleet may need different tests.
  2. The appointment location: yard address or ZIP code, on-site contact and access details.
  3. Your deadline: the due date shown for each vehicle in CTC-VIS, plus the dates vehicles will be available.
  4. Anything that could affect testing: check-engine lights, recent repairs, engine changes or a previous failed result.

Do not email account passwords. We will explain any account-access steps needed for the service.

How fleet pricing works

Our published OBD pricing is $150 for one truck, $120 each for 2–6 qualifying trucks, and $100 each for 7–10. For 11 or more, request a custom quote. Fleet quantities are based on vehicles that receive a passing official test during the same appointment at the same location; vehicles that do not pass do not count toward that quantity. Terms apply.

Smoke opacity testing is listed at $250 per vehicle. Confirm the total and applicable terms when scheduling a mixed fleet.

Mobile service where your fleet works

Our current service area includes Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, the Inland Empire and North San Diego County. Send the actual yard address so availability can be confirmed. These are mobile service areas, not additional CTCA offices.
