MOBILE + HUNTINGTON BEACH TESTING
Clean Truck Check OBD Testing
Book an OBD test for your eligible diesel or alternative-fuel engine. Choose mobile testing across our Southern California service area or visit our Huntington Beach location.

The right test for your OBD-equipped engine
For vehicles subject to Clean Truck Check, OBD testing generally applies to 2013 and newer diesel engines and 2018 and newer alternative-fuel engines. Engine model year matters, not just vehicle model year. Our credentialed team uses a CARB-certified testing device to collect the required engine data. Tell us about engine replacements or unusual configurations before booking.
$150 for one truck
Fleet OBD rates: $120 each for 2–6 trucks; $100 each for 7–10; request a quote for 11 or more. No travel fee. If the vehicle does not pass, there is no charge for the OBD test. Fleet quantities count only passing vehicles tested at the same appointment and location. Terms apply.
Mobile or Huntington Beach
Book mobile testing within our Southern California service area, or visit 16861 Beach Blvd for eligible walk-in OBD testing. Confirm compatibility and current hours before traveling.
Test results submitted to CARB
We submit your test results to CARB. Vehicle reporting, annual CARB fees and other outstanding requirements are separate. Check your CTC-VIS record for your official status.
Typically 20–30 minutes
Appointment time can vary with the vehicle and testing conditions. Mention warning lights, recent repairs or cleared fault codes before scheduling.

Before your OBD appointment
Have your VIN, engine model year, fuel type and CTC-VIS deadline ready. Tell us about a check-engine light, recent repairs or a battery replacement before scheduling. Clearing codes or disconnecting the battery near the test can leave the vehicle not ready.
