Do I need AVG to book a test?

No. You can book a normal CTCA test without purchasing a device. CTCA is an authorized seller of ASAH Vehicle Gateway, an optional automated-testing route for compatible vehicles.

Ask the team to confirm compatibility, current plans and setup before ordering. Automated testing does not repair a vehicle, replace CARB fees or remove the owner's other compliance obligations.
