Does my vehicle need Clean Truck Check?

Clean Truck Check generally covers diesel and alternative-fuel vehicles over 14,000 pounds GVWR operating on California public roads, including many vehicles registered elsewhere. Exemptions and special categories apply.

Have the GVWR, fuel type, engine information and registration state available. Do not assume a personal-use vehicle or motorhome is automatically exempt. We can help identify the service to ask about; CARB determines the applicable requirements.
